Chinese Premier Li Qiang announced on 17 January, 2024 that China will implement a one-sided visa-free policy for Ireland. This move aims to enhance the exchange of personnel between the two nations. Li shared this news during his meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar at Farmleigh House, the official Irish state guest house.
