2. What are the precautions for refunding and returning the “Shanghai Pass” card?
1) The “Shanghai Pass” base card fee of 20 yuan is non-refundable.
2) If the amount on a single card is less than 100 yuan, no handling fee will be charged, and the balance on the card will be fully refunded in RMB cash.
3) If the amount on a single card is = 100 yuan, you must bring the card purchase receipt, and after deducting a 5% handling fee, it will be refunded in RMB cash.
4) If the amount on a single card is > 100 yuan, the amount on the card will not be refunded.
3. Does the “Shanghai Pass” require real-name authentication? Can it be reported lost?
“Shanghai Pass” is an anonymous card, which does not require real-name authentication and cannot be reported lost.
4. Does the “Shanghai Pass” support transfer discounts for Shanghai public transportation?
The discounts for taking public transportation in Shanghai are the same as those of the Shanghai Public Transportation Card.
Use this card to pay for buses (except airport express and tourist express) or subway fares within the city, and you can get a 1 yuan discount for transfers between buses or between buses and subways within 120 minutes.
Use this card to take the city subway line, and you can enjoy a 10% discount after spending 70 yuan in the month.
5. Is a deposit required to buy a “Shanghai Pass”? What is the maximum amount of stored value on the card?
The base card fee of the “Shanghai Pass” is 20 yuan, which is non-refundable. Recharge is in units of 10 yuan, and the maximum stored value on the card does not exceed 1,000 yuan.
6. What is the specific scope of use of “Shanghai Pass”?
This card can be used in public transportation such as Shanghai buses, subways, maglev trains, taxis, ferries, etc. It can also be used in public transportation in more than 330 cities at or above the prefecture level in China, basically covering major tourist cities in China such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Qingdao, Chengdu, Sanya, Xiamen, etc.

8. Can “Shanghai Pass” be overdrawn when purchasing tickets for attractions? What should I do if the balance on the card is insufficient?
“Shanghai Pass” cannot be overdrawn when purchasing tickets for attractions, nor can it partially pay the ticket amount.
Users must check the card balance and recharge in time through Shanghai Transportation Card APP, Urban Tourism Card Official Account, subway station self-service recharge machines and other channels.
