Xi'an Eternal Love: Immersive Theater Meets Ancient History
Xi'an Eternal Love (西安千古情) is a spectacular theatrical theme park that brings ancient Chinese history to life through cutting-edge stage technology. Located in the Chanba Ecological District, this immersive experience combines high-tech effects with traditional storytelling to recreate 6,000 years of Xi'an's civilization in one unforgettable hour.
What to Expect
The centerpiece show follows a Chinese-American girl returning to her homeland to explore her roots. The performance spans five acts: "Dawn of Banpo," "Zhou Dynasty and Qin Wind," "Zhang Qian's Mission," "Tang Dynasty Glory," and "New Chang'an." The production features over 10,000 pieces of stage machinery, 3,000 tons of cascading water effects, and hundreds of cubic meters of sand that literally flies at the audience. Beyond the main show, the park offers street performances, traditional craft demonstrations, and themed dining areas designed like ancient Chinese streetscapes.
How to Get There
Take Metro Line 3 to Xianghu Bay Station (Exit A1), then transfer to bus routes 47 or 262 to Expo Park Debao Gate Station. The venue is located at No. 1 Expo Avenue in Xi'an's Chanba Ecological District. For drivers, navigate to "Eternal Love Parking Lot" — the venue has over 1,000 parking spaces.
Practical Info
Ticket prices range from ¥278 for standard seats to ¥580 for premium viewing. The park operates daily with different hours: weekdays 12:00-18:30, weekends 11:00-20:30. Shows typically run at 13:00, 15:30, 17:30, and 19:00, though times vary by season. Children under 1.2m or 6 years old enter free but without reserved seating. Book tickets in advance during peak travel periods, as the 60-minute performances often sell out.
